  • First Due Cooling is a firefighter-owned HVAC and refrigeration contracting business built by Cody Callanan and Yadi Enriquez to bring accountability and quality to Southwest Florida. We serve residential and commercial customers throughout Lee and Collier Counties, from emergency service calls to new construction builds. Our firefighter roots mean we take our responsibility to customers seriously—you're not another ticket to us.

Yadi Enriquez

Co-Owner

I’m Yadi, co-owner of First Due Cooling and the technical lead for our service department. I hold the mechanical contractors license and oversee all our field operations and perform field work. We built FDC on a simple principle: show up on time, do the work right, and all for an honest price.

I began in residential and commercial HVAC for a large company in Southwest Florida and due to hard work I quickly climbed through the ranks till I ran large residential and commercial installation projects with multiple crews working under me. I always met the contractors expectation and deadlines.

I continued to learn the trade and became the go-to person to call for difficult problems crews were having with installation or service work. This is why I took on being the technical lead at FDC. The lead and vision I have for our service department is no nonsense, no unnecessary upsells, just solid mechanical knowledge applied in the right way.

The true reason for starting FDC is my family and providing for them, so when I am not working I am spending time with them!

Cody Callanan

Co-Owner

I’m Cody, co-owner of First Due Cooling and I handle new construction estimating, residential and commercial service work, and other field work. We built FDC on a simple principle: show up on time, do the work right, and all for an honest price.

I have spent years in construction and HVAC prior to becoming a firefighter and take pride in everything I do whether saving lives or saving your AC system. I started in large commercial air conditioning systems for hospitals and operating rooms, which required extreme precision in scheduling, installation, and trade knowledge.

I then went on to work at a traditional residential and commercial HVAC company as a project manager and ran the service and installation department. I didn’t like how many companies operated so we started First Due Cooling.

When I am not at work, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with my family and taking care of my plants and garden.
